Satellite Grooves experiments with digital sound and editing effects alongside traditional instruments like guitar and vocals with a strong emphasis on dominant melodies and hushed embellishments.

  The glitch-inflected nature of CPU lullabies found throughout "Atoms, Molecules, and Rain" will definitely raise a few eyebrows and draw comparisons to Richard D. James-era Aphex Twin and the last long-player from Magnetophone -- but when you're emulating the best, the results are often noteworthy.
