.tape. is Daniel Romero, from Oviedo, Asturias. Daniel started his unique musical adventures in the early part of 2000, trying to convert his bedroom into a chaotic sound system by mixing together 8 bits sounds, abstract melodies, folk guitars and electronic details into completely lo-fi, pop soundscapes.

  Currently, Daniel is recording for a handful of releases to be released over the next year and preparing for a Spring 2003 tour, with 5 people re-creating Daniel's pop-scapes using acoustic guitars, laptops, a xylophone, keyboards, and several mix CDs.
